Prepare for On-Campus Move-Out
Move-out weekend will be a busy time on Cal Poly’s campus, so get prepared ahead of time by doing the following steps:
- Review your apartment or residence hall inspection/cleaning checklist
- Review the Express Check-Out procedure if you are NOT the last person to check out of your room or apartment
- Review the instructions on how to complete a Change of Address card with USPS
You can find all of these materials and instructions HERE.
Remember that students must be out of their room/apartment by noon on their move-out date:
Sunday, June 18th by Noon: Move-out for freshmen students in Residence Halls, Cerro Vista Apartments, and Poly Canyon Village Apartments
Tuesday, June 20th by Noon: Move-out for continuing and transfer students in Cerro Vista Apartments and Poly Canyon Village Apartments
IMPORTANT: During finals week, “Quiet Hours” in the residence halls are extended to 23 hours per day. Out of respect for students who are still studying for finals, the university highly encourages students to move out of their room/apartment within 24 hours of their last final exam.
